I'm Michelle Drapeau, founder of Mind For Wellbeing.
I run programmes, workshops and seminars for people experiencing stress, anxiety and emotional exhaustion. I am a stress and anxiety coach and mindfulness practitioner based in Buckinghamshire. I work with people experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional exhaustion and feelings of overwhelm. I hold an MSc in Mindfulness-based Approaches (with distinction) from Bangor University and am trained in therapeutic coaching, health & wellbeing cognitive behavioural coaching and performance coaching. For my MSc thesis I researched the potential effectiveness of a mindfulness-based approach as a treatment option for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
I have trained with some great teachers of mindfulness including Rebecca Crane, Suryacitta Malcolm Smith, Karunavira, Jody Mardula, Saki Santorelli and John Peacock, and am privileged to have studied the neuroscience of mindfulness with brilliant cognitive neuroscientist, Dr Dusana Dorjee.
I am also editor of 'Performance Coaching: A Complete Guide to Best Practice Coaching and Training', written by Carol Wilson (published by Kogan Page) and am co-author of two chapters of the book on the subjects of resilience and corporate social responsibility.
I am committed to my ongoing professional development and have undertaken a range of additional training including mindfulness teacher training, Voice Dialogue, teaching mindfulness masterclass, working with anxiety (body psychotherapy), mental health issues, the Rewind Technique, safeguarding, resilience and NLP in coaching.
Mind For Wellbeing is based in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside of Swanbourne, about 15 minutes from Milton Keynes, Buckingham and Aylesbury and accessible also to those living in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Oxfordshire.
